About Us
Post Graduate Department of Microbiology and Bio-technology was started in the year 1999. The Department has served microbiology for nearly two decades producing students who has settled in various institutions. Many of our students are serving as teaching faculty in Government, aided, and self-financing institutions. Alumni of this department are also occupying notable positions in various research organization and renowned laboratories. The department has been the referral centre for National Centre of IAMM on quality control for HSV & VSV. The department takes care of Bio-informatics Infrastructure facility centre from 2007 to till date furnishing Internet facility and dissemination of Bio informatics knowledge for the entire college and student's community.
