About Us
Department of political science was established in the year 1955 in our college. It was introduced as a subject of excellence to unfurl the early and existing political system of India. Enlightening the students with the knowledge of governance had attracted students to enroll in our department. The department is equipped with well experienced Faculty members. The department is consistent in its support to the budding students who are keen in learning several kinds of political system that was experimented at the various stages in the world political history. National and International seminar and conferences are the academic exercises conducted and encouraged by the department. Minor and Major projects as per the guidelines of UGC are regularly undertaken by the department. Department alumni consist of student's achieved in various walks of life. They are of civil servant, Academician, Professors, Lawyers, Police officers, Politician and grass root worker as well. Department of political science of Presidency College is committed in creating politically enlightened citizen.
